Regional Clinical Quality Manager

Carejobz are proud to work with a leading aged care provider to recruit their new Clinical Quality Manager, covering the Auckland region.

As the new Clinical Quality Manager, you will be based in Auckland's CBD.

The role performs a critical function within the Operations Clinical team and works across a portfolio of Care Centres and assigned portfolios of responsibility.

The key focus of the role is to support clinical service delivery within the Care Centre and Serviced Apartments ensuring high quality care underpinned by well embedded clinical care and quality systems.

The approach to the role includes a strong focus on leading the model of care, ensuring a resident centred approach that supports resident safety and clinically appropriate care delivery.

The role also requires a focus on quality systems and continuous improvement. 

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Nursing leadership and clinical support
  • Internal/External Audits
  • Clinical KPIs and monitoring of quality framework
  • Benchmarking and Risk Management
  • Complaint Management and Customer Feedback
  • New Builds, Refurbishments and Extensions
  • Health and Safety
About you
  • ideally you will be a Registered Nurse with a current NZNC practising certificate with a minimum of five years’ post graduate experience.
  • Overseas candidates considered with the right background and experience
  • Significant experience within the aged care sector
  • Passionate about delivering resident centred care
  • High degree of clinical expertise and the ability to apply critical thinking skills in the aged residential care setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong team player
  • A professional nurse leader with a strong commitment to be a positive influence, coach and mentor
  • In depth understanding of HDSS NZS 8134:2008 and Residential Aged Care Contract
  • Proven high level of computer literacy including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to use the required health and clinical systems within the organisation
  • The ability to think strategically and articulate concepts and ideas
  • High level of integrity combined with energy and drive
  • Motivating and engaging leadership style
  • Able to travel frequently
  • Bi-cultural awareness and the ability to adhere to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi
  • Experience with InterRAI an advantage.
