Commonry is a new inclusively-sized fashion brand launching in February 2021. We’re creating the future of fashion for women sizes 10-22 with stylish, high-quality and thoughtfully-designed apparel created by experts in fit. Commonry will launch with flagship stores in Melbourne and Sydney and in David Jones Nationally.

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven leader who has the ability to inspire their team and drive their concession store to success. This will be achieved by providing inspirational leadership, training and developing team capability, strong people management, applying commercial acumen and a sound financial understanding of the business.
 
In this role, your responsibilities include: 
  • Delivers and exceeds sales budgets and growth expectations
  • Has commercial acumen in driving results through product placement and product opportunities
  • Effectively manages concession store rosters to deliver budgeted wage %, planning for fluctuations in trade and tasks
  • Leads by example in customer service, ensures staff are trained to deliver above-and-beyond service that is consistent with the brands service standards
  • Maximises sell-throughs and profitability of products through effective refilling, markdowns and stockroom management
  • Ensures the concession store maintains visual standards and merchandises stock to maximise sales potential
  • Recruits team members with the correct brand and cultural fit, competencies and behaviours
  • Provides team with a quality induction and introduction to the brand
  • Provides direction and appropriate feedback to team
  • Creates a positive and productive concession store environment for team
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Store Management experience in a high volume and fast paced environment with a minimum of 2 years leadership experience
  • Experience working in a concession store is preferred but not essential
  • Hands on and strong leader with the ability to motivate and mentor a team to achieve success.
  • Passion for styling and eye for detail to uphold our visual merchandising standards.
  • Exposure to large stock volumes and stock management.
  • Experienced in preparing monthly rosters and administration duties.
  • Proven ability in driving sales and achieving KPI'S & budgets.
  • High personal standards in providing superior customer service
