An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Business Partner to join the HR Leadership team at our St Kilda Road Support Office. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, this role provides leadership, support and coaching on all People related matters across multiple brands.
We are a rapidly growing retail group, looking for a highly experienced Business Partner to lead and deliver key strategic change initiatives across our Retail portfolio. You must love a fast-paced retail environment and have experience working within a newly established shared service operating model.
Supported by a HR team with function verticals across Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Generalist HR. A team player that is willing to jump into the detail and navigate complex change all at once will be an asset in this role.
  • Partner alongside Retail leadership to determine and drive business unit HR strategy
  • Lead / deliver key change projects and initiatives across the portfolio
  • Identify and develop learning and development opportunities to increase capability and business performance
  • Drive a new HR Business Partner operating model, partnering with the Head HR and key business leaders
  • Provide advice, counsel, and training to leaders/managers within the Retail portfolio
  • Manage employee relations and low-level industrial relations
  • Manage / lead remuneration and Award principles
  • Manage / lead key people related performance metrics
  • Contribute to cross functional project deliverable outside of the Retail portfolio
  • Generalist HR activity including but not limited to talent, succession, remuneration, Performance and work health and safety
  • Tertiary Qualification or equivalent in Human Resources
  • Experience in a HR Business Partner or similar role within a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated strategic change experience
  • High levels of influence and problem solving
  • A thorough knowledge of current employment legislation (including Awards and Agreements framework)
