The Opportunity:
A  exciting opportunity has arisen within Empired’s Workplace Services practice for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer, based in Melbourne CBD.  This role will involve delivery of Desktop Management and Operations Centre Services for 100+ onsite users and 500+ remote users across Australia.

You will:
• Provide onsite and remote desktop support to clients by responding to and resolving incidents and service requests whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure cases are updated as per SLAs
• Follow and comply with all change management policy and procedures
• Retaining ownership of customer issues until resolved or escalated
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve hardware and software faults related to end-user devices
• Respond to high priority issues in a timely manner

About you:
To be considered for the role you will have:
• Demonstrated experience in Desktop related roles
• Enterprise level technical support and customer oriented service experience
• Experience troubleshooting desktops, laptops and tablets running a Windows OS (Win 7, 8.1 and/or 10)
• Experience working with and troubleshooting common enterprise applications (MS Office, Office 365, Lync, Skype for Business)
• Experience troubleshooting printers and print servers
• ITIL v3, MCITP/MCTS and/or relevant technical qualifications highly regarded
• Ability to work with composure and professionalism when dealing with multiple demands.
