Our Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join their PMO responsible for supporting timely access to medical products whilst mitigating any health and safety risks.

The Branch is responsible for assisting the industry with pricing and billing regulations as well as decision reviews and analysis that supports reform process.

The Project Coordinator will support program activities including maintaining cost recovery, coordinating decision appeal and compliance, providing data analytic services and ensuring the Branch meets the requirements of the Regulatory Impact Analysis Framework.

Duties specific to this role will include:
  • Providing a broad range of program management and administration tasks
  • Implementing governance standards
  • Tracking, monitoring and updating the program status
  • Monitoring project deliverables against timelines
  • Coordinating and preparing project reports
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate previous experience of working within a PMO environment, have a good knowledge of PM terminology and principles in operation. You will possess:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise competing priorities
  • Problem solving skills
  • The ability to develop and maintain working relationships with key stakeholders
A working knowledge of project tracking systems will be highly regarded as will an understanding of the Government’s reporting requirements.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must hold a current Baseline Security Clearance.
