You will be joining a global recognised organisation with 30 years of local established experience and good will. They are a tier one design, installation and service provider to the mining, industrial and infrastructure arenas, providing fluid power transmission, drives, winching and ancillary hydraulic systems.

About the role
You will be expected to support and further develop business with existing and new customers based within Brisbane and regional Queensland. Where possible meeting with clients or consultancies on site, to provide product selection, general application and systems support for existing and potential new installations. In addition, you will gather information and develop quotations, proposals and be instrumental in preparing tenders and bids.  

Duties  
  • Support and further develop new business within the existing customer base
  • Investigate and open up new market opportunities within the current product range
  • Be actively involved with problem solving and provide transparent communication around project progression with all internal and external stakeholders
  • Be ever present within your market space and been seen as the go to subject matter expert
  • Have a vigilant ongoing awareness of progressing enquiries and projects at all levels
  • Maintain accurate client records and company reports on opportunity progression
Skills and Experience
  • Have a measurable track of external sales within the power drives, hydraulic or ancillary industry sector
  • Preferably you will have a mechanical trades Cert III or relatable Mechanical Engineering Degree
  • You will have sound interpersonal, verbal and written skills
  • Be well organised with the ability to prioritise your activities and time
  • Have a mechanical and technical mind set with an eagerness to further learn new product and concepts  
  • Be skilled with Microsoft Office and Excel systems with the ability to learn business systems such as Pronto and SAP
