This client is an internationally renowned institute and research centre.  It is a state of the art scientific facility with exceptional research capacities and has a strong integration with clinical departments.

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, you will work in conjunction with staff to produce costings on a project basis for all commercialisation work, including obtaining appropriate sign off and acceptance from scientific staff.  You will also prepare invoicing schedules, including cost recovery allocations and profit shares, for each project subsequent to signing of the contract.  Furthermore you will provide relevant and accurate information for the monthly management information packs in a timely manner and assist as required in preparation of monthly accounts.  Reviewing documented procedures and developing and maintaining these procedures in line with process improvement initiatives together with contributing to the development, implementation and review of policies and procedures, work practices, processes and workflows will be a key part of this exciting role.

CA/CPA qualified, you will have the proven ability in contract review and negotiation and work as a member of a team as well as autonomously without close supervision coupled with the demonstrated ability and willingness to take initiative and to improve and enhance existing systems and procedures.  In addition, you will display excellent written, oral communication and interpersonal skills which ensures effective and courteous interaction with colleagues, visitors and scientists.
