Our client is a specialist in their field.  Located in the Hunter Valley, they have an opportunity for a full time skilled Medical Officer to join their team.

About the role:
You will assist employers to manage their workplace health risks through the delivery of occupational medical assessments, advice and associated reports.  This will be performed in office and work site environments.
Responsibilities include:
  • Liaise with employers, workers representatives and external agencies on appropriate health issues
  • Provide a range of occupational medical services including medical assessments, reporting, referrals, advice to clients and advice to management on current and emerging occupation health issues
  • Participate in meetings associated with occupational health issues
  • Maintain a high standard of quality and accurate clinical documentation
  • Compliance with relevant legislation, industry codes and company policies and procedures.
The key ingredient – YOU:
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • 4 years’+ post graduate relevant experience
  • Sound clinical skills
The following is highly desirable, however not essential:
  • Knowledge of relevant occupational health standards and guidelines
  • Current registration to perform medicals
  • Experience in working in an Occupational Health setting
