About the role

Currently looking for Support Workers who are looking for a casual position with a great Company, and who are committed to providing excellent care to individuals.   The positions are located west of the beautiful Gold Coast region of Queensland.

The role of the Support Worker includes supporting clients with: 
  • Personal care
  • Mealtime assistance
  • Development of general living skills
  • Behavioural and emotional techniques
  • Assisting them to access community and recreation programs
  • General supervision and general administration tasks
  • Development of their social living skills

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in the role, you will require the following skills and experience:
  • Ability to speak and understand English;
  • A certificate in Ageing Support, Health Services Assistant, or Individual Support (Ageing, Ageing and Home and Community, or Disability), or evidence of enrolment and working towards completion.
  • Experience working in the role of a support worker or similar in a home care/community setting.
  • Completed the NDIS module "'Quality, Safety and You' - NDIS Worker Orientation Module'
  • A current National Police Clearance Certificate and has an issue date of less than 12 months ago.
  • A current HLTAID003 (or equivalent) First Aid Certificate
  • A current Working With Children Check
  • A current NSW Drivers Licence (P2 or above) and access to a reliable vehicle. 
Other Requirements
  • Candidates will need to possess a current National Police Clearance that is less than 12 months since date of issue.
  • Candidates will need to demonstrate compliance, or willingness to comply with our Immunisation and Vaccination policy
