Health Planner required for one of Australia's leading Practices in Healthcare working on a variety of complex Healthcare projects

They are one of Australia’s leading practices of specialist health planners and designers of projects ranging from small aged care facilities to world standard hospitals and research laboratories throughout Australia and overseas. They offer comprehensive services in acute health, mental health, aged care and scientific facility planning and design. 

  • Research and implement in projects state-of-the-art innovative concepts in planning and design.
  • Develop program documents and diagrams that address and support the client’s objectives.
  • Lead meetings with client user, administration, physician, and leadership representatives resolving and addressing solutions for the varying focus and issues of these groups.
  • Work with client leadership and project teams to generate conceptual departmental and flow relationships that foster building configurations that address functional utility and design innovation.
  • Lead and facilitate group discussions; recording and distributing the information to the client for record in a manner consistent with the firm and industry standards.
  • Work with the project manager and the project designer in creating buildings which serve the client’s needs and respond to their desired image, space, and aesthetic.
  • Provide detailed guidance and leadership to the project teams on healthcare-specific knowledge such as compliance, equipment coordination, and technical room layouts.
  • Help carry the design parameters through CA by providing support on an as needed basis to the CA team.
  • Mentor Architects, Technicians and Design Professionals in the development and implementation of healthcare knowledge.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Architecture.
  • Experience completing projects in REVIT.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage multiple projects.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and achieve outcomes in complex and challenging environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor and interpret health related data for purposes of analysis, planning and evaluation.
  • Experience in health needs planning frameworks, priority setting processes, monitoring and reporting systems to support robust and effective primary care service development and delivery.
  • Experience in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation systems to support quality improvement processes.
  • Knowledge and understanding of trends, developments and issues in primary health care, particularly related to planning and evaluation.
