The Role

An incredible opportunity has become available due to internal succession for a Big Box Assistant Store Manager to join the flagship team in Sydney. The successful candidate will have a growth mindset and support the leadership team to learn and grow while they execute and deliver excellent business results by increasing brand awareness and delivering world class customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and motivate a competitive, innovative, high-energy, authentic, friendly, and customer-centric team.
  • Increase sales through flawless execution of corporate/store direction and rallying team support of the company's retail store strategies
  • Able to tell the story of your business through metrics, location, and industry trends.
  • Provide recognition, feedback, and development and growth opportunities focused on producing retail's next leaders. 
  • Assess situations quickly and prioritize decisions that drive short and long term results. Have the ability to be nimble and decisive, leading based on new or developing information.

Skills Required
  • Experience managing large teams in either a Big Box/Cluster/Regional/Area Management capacity OR managing a Department in a large Department Store format
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities - able to rally, gain buy-in and lead, coach and mentor the team
  • Proven results in business coaching.
  • Experience analysing Profit & Loss Statements and Balance Sheets.
  • Able to present effectively across all levels of a business
