Are you a building surveyor looking for a position within an established organisation? Do you have a track record for delivering disrepair surveys within a housing association environment? Would you be interested in adding key knowledge and expertise to your skillset?

Archer is partnering with a multi-disciplinary consultancy that is working with various housing associations within London and Home Counties.

This consultancy’s building surveying team has just been awarded a new contract in London and are looking to employ a building surveyor for disrepair work.

Ideally, with a strong consultancy or housing association background, the candidate will be working on various housing association properties.

Your Role & Requirements:
The core elements of your role will include but not be limited to:
  • Provide technical reports, appraisals, measurement, costings, and estimates as required for a wide range of building defects
  • Undertake surveys and prepare schedules and contract specification documents
  • Amend existing documents to reflect any changes or enhancements to the existing repairs
  • Work with joint expert specialists to produce schedules of works that meet the client responsibilities
  • Identify and report to management any trends and unsafe working practices which relate to quality and quantity of work undertaken by operatives and contractors
  • Work within agreed budgets ensuring adherence with financial procedures
  • Produce reports and other information as required in line with statutory, regulatory and policy requirements

The consultancy is paying above the market average and is open to candidates on a permanent or freelance basis.
