Some more about the role
Modelling is core to this role from corporate, to financial to regulatory modelling. This role manages short and long term financial planning processes for the business. You will be dealing with senior stakeholders like the CFO, Head of Regulatory and other members of the Senior Management Team so it is a role with high visibility and influence.

Reporting to the Manager of Strategy Planning & Performance you will be involved in: 
  • Managing and updating the long-term corporate model
  • Building and refining a complex pricing model for regulatory purposes
  • Providing views on current and future capital structure including the implications of budget, pricing and capital expenditure on the capital structure forecast
  • Performing scenario analysis and other ad hoc analysis
So, who are you and what is your profile?

To start with you will be a gung ho modeller. This is key. We’d expect you’ll have a degree most likely in finance and have around 5+ years’ experience in financial and business analysis, corporate modelling and valuation expertise.
Most likely you will have worked in a Corporate Finance team within public practice or be in a Corporate Analyst role looking for your next challenge. You might have been in investment banking before and be looking to switch to corporate. A number of the team have investment banking backgrounds.
Given there is regular interaction with senior stakeholders and senior management, it’s important that you can express your opinions and thought process with confidence and clarity. This is your chance to influence decision making and make a difference.
