The M&E - Mechanical scope of works on the WestConnex Stage 3A (WCX3A) project comprises of:
  • Anchoring and supporting systems inside tunnel,
  • Tunnel Fire suppression systems (Fire pump room and associated tunnel pipework),
  • Tunnel ventilation system (Jet fans, Axial fans and associated equipment – Dampers, Sound Attenuators),
  • MVAC systems (Buildings AC system and Egress pressurisation)
  • Miscellaneous Structural Steel packages

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor & ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with H&S requirements;
    • . Conduct / attend Pre-start meetings & Toolbox talks
    • . Review Safe Work Method Statements
  • Oversee the day-to day operation of specific activities on site;
  • Ensure smooth execution of the works of the team or subcontractors;
  • Monitor the logistics for material delivery to site for specific activities;
  • Monitor the day-to-day schedule on site for specific activities;
  • Provide daily site reports on the works performed.
  • Other duties as assigned by direct supervisor from time to time.
  • 5-10 years of relevant M&E work experience on infrastructure project (Experience on tunnel project is a plus)
