Our client is an industry leader in IT and has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time IT Support Engineer to join their dedicated team in Griffith, NSW. This role requires extensive experience in Windows technologies in order to effectively manage the customer environments. You must also have the ability to quickly identify and fix technical errors on site and remotely as will be required to work both at client sites and our Griffith office where you will look after our managed service customers and become the point of contact for escalations.

You will require:
  • Previous experience working in a IT Engineer position (Level 1 and 2)
  • Good customer management skills
  • Effective oral and written communication with a history of discussing and solving issues with technical and non-technical individuals
  • Certifications are highly desirable but demonstrated experience and an aptitude for success will put you in front of the pack
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and in-depth knowledge of computer hardware and related software
  • Strong understanding and experience with TCP/IP, Layer 3 switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, Routing, Firewall Security, Wireless solutions
  • Experience in Installing and troubleshooting Internet technologies
  • Excellent Microsoft platform expertise including Active Directory, Exchange, Group Policy, Office 365, hybrid on-premise and cloud solutions
  • High level administrative skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Network design, Linux support and administration, Cisco router configuration and Virtualisation technologies would be highly regarded
  • Driver’s Licence (essential)
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent personal presentation
