Aptus are currently working with a leading group with a National Market Presence who offer first class training, culture, client base and ongoing support. You will be provided with all the tools of the trade needed and years of knowledge to draw on from their highly skilled team.
We require a structural engineer to undertake forensic / insurance mediation work. You'll be required to inspect various building structures as instructed by your client base, typically being a major insurer. At times you will be working within emotive scenarios so strong communication and people skills are just as important as your technical background.
Based on your findings you will write professional reports outlining the cause of damage and the extent of damage.
You will play a Key role across an established team with the view to further develop capabilities and market opportunities.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- A Bachelor of Engineering
- Strong Written & Verbal Communication Skills
- Prior Experience (e.g. Condition Reports)
- Good knowledge of Australian codes
- Have the ability to work autonomously
- Experience of Timber, Steel, Concrete
- 5 years Structural Engineering Experience
You will receive strong backing and support from the existing team with a dedicated training program and will be able to draw on their support as needed.
