A Fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Document Controller with a background in Commercial Construction to work across a Tier 1 high rise residential project in Auckland. You will be working within a reputable Company that specialise in high rise Residential tier 1 projects. The Company is highly regarded for their ambition and commitment to improving property for all stakeholders. With a proven track record for adding capital value to their acquisitions, you will be joining a dynamic, results-driven and innovative workplace culture. The Company is seeking a passionate Document Controller to come on board for an immediate start.  You will be working within a fantastic team and with a PM who is committed to developing you in the role and in the company.

What you will need to succeed

  • Degree qualified in Business Management, Construction management, Engineering OR a related field is preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working as a Document Controller on Tier 1 Commercial projects
  • Ability to multi-task whilst having a meticulous attention to detail
  • A high level of organisation and communication skills
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines      

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a correspondence control system
    Management of documentation associated with all aspects of the construction project from tender to completion
  • General administration duties to assist the Design and Project Management Team
  • The operation and maintenance of manuals and relative filing in accordance with Building Standards
  • Expedite the review and approval of documentation, including designs, procedures and instruction
    Issue transmittal letters and receipts
  • Manage archiving of project data
  • Initiate a proactive and flexible approach interacting with Project personnel.
