Cybersecurity Associate Director.

Our client is a global business consulting & internal audit firm composed of experts specialising in risk and advisory services. The firm helps clients solve problems in finance, operations, technology, litigation, governance, risk, and compliance.

As an associate director you will be responsible for maintaining primary contact with significant clients and for maintaining client satisfaction on all client work.  In addition they are responsible for developing existing engagement opportunities, playing significant roles in developing new clients, and establishing relationships within the business community.  Associate Directors maintain overall responsibility for the profitability of all client related work within their portfolio.

Required Experience:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline required
  2. 9+ years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry
  3. Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment
  4. Self-starter and can operate independently as needed
  5. Creative and logical problem-solving abilities
  6. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills
  7. Advanced listening skills and written and verbal communications

Required Technical Expertise:
  1. Previous experience in security policy development, information security analysis risk assessment and security solution implementation.
  2. Experience in assessing and implementing security and risk standards such as ISO 27001-2, PCI DSS, NIST CSF, ITIL, COBIT, IRAP, PSPF, Cloud security.
  3. Skills in security assessment, design., architecture, management and/or reporting.
  4. Experience in privacy and data protection, security tools / technologies (in-depth understanding of design and security requirements):
    • Identity & access management (IDAM)
    • Privilege Access Management (PAM)
    • Vulnerability and threat management
    • Penetration Testing
    • Advanced Threat Protection
    • Endpoint security such as Anti-malware, Application whitelisting, Host Intrusion Prevention System (HIPS) etc.
    • Security Incident & Event Management (SIEM), Audit Logging and Monitoring.
    • Network Intrusion Detection / Prevention System.
    • Web Application Firewall (WAF)
    • File integrity Monitoring (FIM)
    • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
    • Application security, Knowledge of OWASP.
  5. Experience supporting a complex changing environment
  6. Experience implementing new processes and systems to support the growing business
