Our global business consulting and internal audit client currently seeks a passionate and experienced Associate Director for their IT Audit division in Sydney.

Reporting to the office lead, you will be responsible for maintaining primary contact with significant clients and for maintaining client satisfaction on all client work. In addition you will be responsible for developing existing engagement opportunities, playing significant roles in developing new clients, and establishing relationships within the business community. Associate Directors maintain overall responsibility for the profitability of all client related work within their portfolio.

Required Expertise:
  • Minimum 9 years IT auditing and information systems experience
  • Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment
  • Self-starter and can operate independently as needed
  • Creative and logical problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain professional demeanor under pressure
  • Strong project management and client relationship skills
  • Proven business development proficiency
  • Organisation and time management expertise
  • Mentoring and people development capabilities

  • Demonstrate leadership in industry /product competency
  • Consistently manages quality on all projects
Further Requirements:
  • Expert know ledge of IT auditing processes and methodologies
  • Skills and experience within at least two of the following areas:
  • - IT Project Management, Software Development Lifecycle
  • - IT Management Processes (e.g. ITIL processes)
  • - IT Governance and Risk Management
  • - Information/Cyber Security: Security Program Management; Data Security & Privacy Management; Identity & Access Management
  • - Applications, in particular ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) security, controls and GRC o Policy & Standards – e.g. ISO series, PCI DSS, GDPR, COBIT5, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline required
  • Relevant Professional Certification such as CISA, CISM, PRINCE2, CISSP, CRISC, or PCI-DSS QSA required

The position requires some out-of-town travel to client worksites
