The Role:

We are now looking for a Job Coach in North Brisbane. This full-time role will be mobile potentially requiring travel on a day to day basis throughout communities, building and supporting a caseload of DES participants on their journey towards finding and keeping a job.

So what do our JobCoaches actually do?

A JobCoach has an infinitely diverse and rewarding job description! – some of which includes:
  • Build and maintain caseloads by identifying, engaging and commencing participants into DES services
  • Own the end-to-end case management, coaching and support of participants including conducting assessments, creating Jobplans, finding job opportunities and providing  post placement support
  • Engaging with local employers and stakeholders to create job opportunities and manage key relationships
  • Represent PeoplePlus by undertaking networking activities and business development in local communities
  
What sets you apart from the rest?
  • Demonstrated experience and a proven record achieving results within a performance oriented, client or community focused business. Experience in the employment services field is useful, but not essential – some of our most amazing staff come from outside the sector!
  • Customer service champion, a great communicator, love working and building rapport with people with disability and are motivated to achieve employment outcomes for them
  • Natural ability to engage and maintain employer and stakeholder relationships and networks across multiple industries
  • Confident, trustworthy and confident self-starter who thrives on the opportunity to achieve meaningful results and solve all sorts of problems
  • Driver’s licence, don’t mind a role with some travel and are smart, organised and resourceful with your time
  • Resilient, understand that no two people are the same and are able to work and adapt with each individual’s needs; willing to reinvent the wheel if need be
  • Advocate for the PeoplePlus values and embrace and advocate the company’s culture and Brand Standards
