The order book is growing and an additional Merchandising Manager is needed to be the communication bridge between the company and the customers, managing orders and advising on product development

This very successful foreign-owned apparel manufacturer supplies active and swimwear to high-profile brands and retailers in the export market and domestic markets. 

Your role will be to supervise the team's merchandising activities in the entire order process to ensure customer service and on-time delivery:
  • Build business relationships through quality customer service 
  • Provide advice and suggestions on product design
  • Build and maintain a strong vendor network for product development and production
  • Supervise the delivery plan, identifying any areas of risk to ensure accurate intake of stock
  • Streamline and improve critical paths 
 To be successful, you will need to be able to challenge existing processes to drive improvements.  You will also need:
  • Relevant management experience in the garment manufacturing industry
  • Good knowledge of fabric,trims and garment engineering
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Strong motivational, coaching and leadership skills
