Our client is a successful and well known global workplace relations specialist. They help employers manage their employees and safety requirements in-line with the Fair Work and Health and Safety Act. They currently have a position available within the Perth office for a Business Development Manager. 
 
Job purpose
The role of a Business Development Manager is to identify new business opportunities. 

Plenty of companies talk about great earning potential; our client walks the talk with a really competitive base salary, an incredibly easy to understand and transparent commission scheme that sees their high achievers earning comfortably in excess of $250K per annum. All they ask in return is that you bring a great attitude to new business generation and a professional approach to selling. You will have the support of a dedicated lead generator, an ultra efficient sales administration team, an industry leading learning and development team and a dedicated initial period of shadowing and training to prepare you to sell the companies services.

Main accountabilities:
  • To contact leads and attend prospect meetings, with the intent to secure new business and raise awareness of the companies products and services
  • Self-lead generation and securing new business opportunities
  • Short, sharp sales cycle
  • Achieving set sales targets & objectives
  • Ensure high standards of professionalism and customer service thereby creating referral and intermediary opportunities
  • Achieving personal income and business targets
Skills, experience and qualifications required:
  • A proven, experienced new business salesperson showing a proven track record in field sales in B2B sectors
  • A mature approach to intelligent and consultative selling with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A positive and tenacious attitude and an unyielding passion for success, added with a sales hunter mentality
  • Extensive social and business networks
