Our client is a successful and well known media business that sell their products on a global scale. They are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Strategic Business Development Executive to join the sales team. 

Do you have experience in the digital media sector, are you passionate about selling and are you looking for an exciting and challenging role? If so, we want to hear from you.
The Role:
You will be part of an international sales team and report into the Sales Director. Day to day you will work closely with key partners across the Editorial, Research, Events, Product and Design teams.
You will be selling across the businesses global brands including digital display, account-based marketing, broadcast solutions, custom content, and event sales. The role is primarily responsible for developing and managing a client patch of high potential accounts. You will be working with the research, events, and data teams to deliver high value solutions.
In addition, you will be selling the new data services product suite, providing lead generation and Account Based Marketing solutions across several vertical industry sectors to your account base to generate additional revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing existing relationships and driving new business for all of the companies media solutions
  • Pro-actively pitching new ideas, concepts and solutions to clients and have full coverage across their target verticals
  • Staying on top of industry trends & understanding how the company can maximise opportunities in new and emerging areas
  • Providing accurate account management and forecasting
  • Overall, meeting and exceeding annual sales targets
Key Attributes & Experience:
  • Previous Media Sales experience, with a background in business to business
  • Proven success in selling integrated programs on an international basis
  • Proven success in selling large deals to clients directly
  • The ability to account map and develop multiple contacts within the same organisations at a global level
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment that includes Sales, Editorial, Product and Design
  • A passion for new business development
  • To listen, think creatively and apply solutions to meet customer needs
  • Confident and clear communicator
This exciting opportunity will give you the chance to work for an established International Media Group and represent some iconic brands. You will be rewarded with an excellent base salary + uncapped quarterly commissions + business expenses along with some potential interstate travel opportunities. 
You will also have a flexible working approach, offering the opportunity to work both from home, but also in the office. The full-time working hours are 37.5 hours per week.
