WHS Coordinator


This National Engineering company are seeking a WHS Coordinator to assist with Safety and Compliance requirements and provide administration support.

Our client is seeking a talented WHS Coordinator who will be reporting to the National SHEQ Manager and the role is based out of the Moorebank Head Office.

The primary function of this role is to work closely with the WHS team and assisting with the implementation of proactive management of activities and compliance associated with the Safety Health Environment and Quality (SHEQ) function within the organisation which includes the provision of administrative support to the WHS team. 

Key deliverables include; 
  • Provide team and management with administrative support
  • Updating and report generation via the OH&S System
  • Coordinating regulatory programs and supporting the compliance process.
  • Assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of Risk Assessments, Investigations and Cause Analysis.
  • Report writing which comprehensively covers WHS statuses of each sites.
  • Assist with OHS/WHS Audits
You will have solid experience with OH&S/WHS and strong communications skills.  You will have excellent presentation skills and be able to effectively manage stakeholders and problem solve remotely. 
  • Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
  • Cert IV in WHS
  • Strong IT skills and an ability to learn and implement new technology
  • A flair with data analysis to identify insights and trends.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Conflict resolution and an ability to push back as required.
