About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for a full function Accounts Payable role and administrative support, ensuring best practice to meet business objectives. The role will work closely with senior management within the Company and the wider Division. This role is well suited to an experienced Payables Supervisor who is passionate about payables and is looking to work in an organisation that rewards good employees. The role is a hands-on role with the Supervisor expected to process as part of the team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties will include:
  • Leading, mentoring and developing a team of 2 Accounts Payable Officers
  • The effective management of the AP workload with appropriate delegation of duties
  • Typical AP duties including the set up of new vendors, data entry of inventory and expense invoices, production of EFT payment files and bank payment rules, supplier liaison and query resolution, reconciliation of supplier statements etc.
  • The review and analysis of current processes, identifying key areas of improvement
  • Reports for senior management as and when required
  
About You:
  • 5+ years’ experience in an end to end Accounts Payable role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor employees
  • Highly ambitious and driven, with a can-do attitude
  • Navision software experience (desireable)
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Solution-oriented and always looking to improve a process
  • Proven ability to prioritise and multi-task in a dynamic and demanding environment
  • Full Australian working rights (Essential)
