Hands-on Cropping Overseer / 2IC required for a dryland cropping and livestock operation in the Great Southern WA.

An excellent position exists within a large dryland cropping and livestock operation for an experienced operator to take on the role of Overseer for the cropping side of the business. 

Reporting to the Farm Manager the successful applicant will require:
  • Extensive experience in performing and overseeing all aspects of broad acre cropping including crop production, grain handling and the operation and maintenance of all associated plant & machinery
  • Proven ability to execute cropping plans to a high standard
  • Attention to detail in all aspects of farming operations
  • Previous experience with staff and contractor management and the ability to lead small teams of casual employees
  • Accurate record keeping, reporting procedures and communication
  • Formal Agricultural qualifications are desirable
  • Chemical accreditation and application experience
  • Drivers licence and HC licence (desirable)
  • Adhere to and cultivate an environment based on safe working practices and OH&S regulations
