Our client is about to embark on a new resources based project and is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager.

The Company
Our client focuses on the delivery and operations of resources based projects. As a trusted name in the market, their commitment to excellence in delivery has seen them secure long term supply contracts. An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Controls Manager to start on a new upcoming project and be based in Wollongong, NSW.
  
The Requirement 
You will be responsible for setting up the controls function of the project. This will be a hands-on role so moving forward you will monitor and manage the overall function as well as overseeing the contractor's performance. 
  
  
About You
You will possess the following skills and experience:
  • Tertiary qualifications
  • Previous experience setting up the controls function for a project
  • Cost control coding and management
  • Planning (Primavera)
  • Interrogate and review contractor performance against cost and schedule
  • Able to produce reports (progress)
  • Business Development
  • Strong people skills
  • Experience in engineering or construction 
  • Excellent communication
