Accounts Payable/Bank Reconciliation Officer - Retail

We are on the hunt for an extraordinary Bank Reconciliation and Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team with an Iconic Australian Retailer!

  • Entering, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices into accounting system for all bank accounts
  • Invoice matching and investigating discrepancies in banking and invoices
  • Completing Supplier credit applications
  • Generate relevant reports 
  • Daily bank reconciliation for all bank accounts
  • Petty cash management
  • Assist Accounts Receivable with Billing, Collection, etc
  • Support whole finance team where necessary with ad hoc tasks
  • Respond to customer and supplier queries
  • Processing of EFT payment run
  • Preparation and processing of journals
  • General ledger reconciliations
To be successful in this role, you will need to have to following skills and attributes:
  • High level of computer literacy and strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience using AP21
  • Experience in the Accounts Payable and Bank Reconciliation functions
  • Systematic and organised approach with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadline
  • Quick learner and can-do work ethic 
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as autonomously
