Return-It was launched in 2018 to focus on making recycling simple, accessible and rewarding. A part of Re.Group, an Australian owned company, focused on providing solutions for recycling and recovery of resources from waste.

Return-It currently operates throughout Australia and has expanded its depot network into WA. The depots operate 7 days a week.
An exciting career opportunity exists for highly motivated & proactive Assistant Depot Manager to help grow our depot in Kalgoorlie. The role will be a rostered 5 day week (38hrs).
About The Role:
We are seeking a committed and dynamic individual to join our team! Assisting the Depot Manager, this role will be managing the collection and management of all product that enters the Depot. The product will need to be manually sorted accurately and placed in bulker bags – HEAVY lifting. This is fast paced role and requires standing for lengthy periods. We are proud of the safe and clean environment created and expect each team member to contribute to maintaining our standards. This role will ensure that each customer is attended to and is given assistance at the Depot so they leave with a positive impression of Return-It.
Experience & Attributes
  • Experience in a Customer Service/Supervisor role;
  • Team player and “can do” attitude;
  • Want to career progress within our company;
  • Experience working in a warehouse/storage facility;
  • Forklift licence desirable (or willingness to obtain);
  • A current driver’s licence is essential.
About You:
You have a passion in providing great customer service and have previous experience in a supervisor and customer facing role. You will enjoy assisting customers by sorting and counting their containers manually. Your “can do” attitude is inspiring, as you lead YOUR team to perform well with each shift – you are somewhat competitive!. You will aim to create a positive customer experience with everyone that visits our depot.
What your day will look like:
  • Supporting the Depot Manager
  • Assisting customers with their deposits;
  • Sorting and counting product consistently;
  • Collect and carry product that customers have returned to the depots for their refunds when required;
  • Weekly reporting on Performance and Health and Safety in the Depot to Head Office to ensure transparency;
  • Managing staff rosters to maximize productivity and minimise cost;
  • Monitor the KPI's produced by the depot to identify problem areas and establish and new procedures to improve efficiency;
  • Ensure that staff have the skills and training to work safely and efficiently;
  • Regularly check the workplace for hazards and report any faults/risks for repair.
