As the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator, you will work closely with the EHS Manager to provide technical safety and health support to all plant departments’ in order to help drive a zero harm environment.

As the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator, you will work closely with the EHS Manager to provide technical safety and health support to all plant departments’ in order to help drive a zero harm environment.
Responsibilities:
- Enforce EH&S and Workers Compensation policies and procedures
- Support implementation of a plant safety plan to improve current safety management systems and processes
- Provide a monthly site plant safety report to Safety Manager
- With the EHS team, support the management of safety management systems, processes and procedures to reach a high industry standard
- Manage and process all workers compensation claims and return to work coordination for the plant
- Drive safety culture as the number one priority on site via safety alerts, communication, training, frequent incident reporting & safety reporting to management and other sites
- A focus on compliance, safety improvements, streamlining safety procedures in alignment with lean manufacturing values and concepts
- Communicating with other stakeholders to support standardised training schedules, procedures and systems
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated experience within a safety related role, manufacturing or construction environment preferred
- Knowledge of legislative requirements respect to EHS
- Experienced in Workers Compensation, Work Cover Policies, claim management and Return to Work
- Accreditation in - First Aid, WHS related courses is desirable
