A leader in the market, these guys provide exceptional software to clients across New Zealand, Australia and the UK. They have a full range of features including a Customer Database, Point of Sale, Stock Management, Integrated Marketing Package (text, email and post) and a full range of comprehensive reports.  It is an advanced web-based system that focuses on improving business by utilising industry information.

The Role
The role will lead the UX and UI designs for the organisation. You will partner closely with the development team to conceptualise and design wireframes that enhance their clients' experience.

Task and Duties will include:
  • Plan, prioritise, coordinate, and conduct user requirements analysis, information architecture design, interaction design, and usability testing;
  • Use research methods to gather data on user needs (competitor analysis, personas, customer journeys and scenarios, trend watching, metrics and analytics);
  • Work closely with Product Managers to understand product roadmap and foresee upcoming interface challenges;
  • Conduct prototyping activities as appropriate for each phase of design;
  • Own and maintain UI guidelines;
  • Work closely and collaboratively with developers on UI designs.
Your skills and experience:
  • Proven commercial UI & UX design experience and can showcase successfully launched projects that demonstrate strategic, conceptual and creative thinking
  • An ability to understand customer needs, motivations and behaviours and translate them into actionable deliverables
  • Detail-oriented and highly developed organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Understand interactive experiences, channels, and design principles
  • A strong understanding of underlying interactive technologies, such as web and mobile
  • Must have experience and be comfortable working in an agile development environment;
  • Must be able to work closely and collaboratively with developers on evolving UI designs.
