Blue Tongue are currently seeking Operation Coordinator’s with proven experience to join one of our leading Transport Clients based in Bunbury.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day coordination of driver roster & fleet allocation systems while assisting the operations team and Management with high levels of administration, good negotiation and logistical skills, resourcing of new drivers for long & short term shut downs, keeping in line with compliance and assisting in all other administrative areas as required.
  
The applicant will also be responsible for coordination activities throughout customer/client portfolio to ensure effective service delivery.  
  
To be successful in this role, you will be able to:
  • Demonstrate previous experience of at least 2 years as an Operations Coordinator within a Transport or Logistical company environment within a multi-site organisation servicing the mining, resource / oil and gas sectors
  • Proven ability to deliver a high level of customer service and ensures customer satisfaction is delivered to the client.
  • Demonstrate strong, effective leadership qualities to ensure team members receive continual feedback, development opportunities and mentoring as required
  • Well organised, self-starter, with a team orientation and able to work to tight deadlines as and when required
  • Highly literate with well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have previous exposure to a number of different cultures, people, ages and a proficiency in completing paperwork and adhering to strict safety standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with people at all levels and internal/external business partners
  • Intermediate PC software application skills including a strong knowledge and understanding of MS Office suite
  • Able to lear/adapt to scheduling software systems
  • The candidate will reside in the South West
