anzuk is proud to be working in partnership with Isabel Henderson Kindergarten (IHK) a small, not-for-profit, community-based stand-alone kindergarten.

Isabel Henderson Kindergarten is an inclusive, nature based community kindergarten that provides a language-enriched play-based program to support the holistic development of every child. We value diversity, equity and sustainable environmental practices as well as encouraging children to be active participants in their own learning.

The team recognise the importance of providing a rich nurturing environment that empowers children to become confident, involved and independent learners. The service recognises the importance of meaningful partnerships with families, which are paramount in creating an inclusive environment that celebrates diversity and promotes a sense of belonging for all.

The opportunity:

The Director of IHK is the senior leadership role within the kindergarten.
The role is responsible for managing the daily operations of the kindergarten and leading a team to ensure exceptional pedagogy and professional practice.

As the Director, you will be responsible for staff management, fostering professional relationships with families and the local community, and delivering a high calibre kindergarten program.
The Director works in collaboration with an Educational Leader and a Team and Family Coordinator, along with a team of highly qualified and dedicated educators.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing "Exceeding"  kindergarten services, leading change and renewal as well as previous experience with financial systems and managing budgets. 

The Candidate

You will be a Bachelor qualified Early Years professional with 3+ years’ experience in leadership who possesses strong knowledge and understanding of the EYLF and NQS. 
We are looking for a natural leader with strong work ethic. A candidate who values Education, well-being, respect and integrity.
