The Centre
This large sized service, located near Ivanhoe , is looking for an experienced Centre Director for their service. The centre itself is well resourced and has a highly supportive management team who ensure that a vast percentage of income generated is redistributed back into the centre. They all also believe that their staff are their greatest asset and offer plenty of staff perks including; Above award rates of pay, career growth opportunities and loads of support.

Your new role
Your role as Centre Director will require you to oversee the full operation of the running of the centre in regards to compliance and staff development. You will use your previous experience in a similar role to ensure the high standards of the centre are maintained, using your interpersonal skills to create an inclusive environment for children, families and educators.

Although the management team will support your role, you will be highly autonomous and your expertise and advice within early years education will be respected. Further support will be provided by a part time administration assistant, who will assist with general admin which will free up time to allow you to focus on staff development practices and other aspects of the service. You will therefore be confident in mentoring and developing experienced staff.

The Candidate
To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience in a Centre Director role, demonstrating an ability to lead and manage all aspects of the daily running of the service. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability engage families as well as working and reporting to a members of the management team. To apply for this role it is essential you hold an ACECQA assessed Diploma qualification.

Suitable applicants must have:

• Bachelor of Early Childhood or Diploma of Children Services
• Level 2 First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certification
• Right to work in Australia
• A minimum 2 to 3 years' experience as a Centre manager.
