You’ll be responsible for contributing UI designs with UX thinking for new features and improvements to our product suite as part of an agile product development process with our Melbourne based engineering teams. Key objectives:
  • Prepare wireframes, high fidelity mock-ups and prototypes, and work with the product owner to define specifications to brief developers and evolve requirements on agile sprint activities.
  • Achieve continual improvement and adherence to the style guide and UX principles by seeking peer review and guidance from the lead UX designer.
  • Support the development teams to define and implement user interface designs and interactions throughout the sprint cycle.
  • Contribute towards the user experience research and design effort for specific items from the roadmap.
  • Routinely evaluate the product and provide ideas for UI and UX improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with the product and engineering teams to provide input to aid with final decision making and form part of a cross functional team with various levels of engagement with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success and Sales to understand and define the user experience of the Plexus products.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and provide constructive feedback to enhance and move it forward between releases.
  • Build a body of knowledge through quantitative and qualitative research that describes our target users and how current users adapt to, utilise and adopt the Plexus products.
  • Clearly identify and develop user personas, user flows and other artifacts that describe the users of the Plexus products and how they use them.
  • Develop and maintain a relevant Design System that grows and develops in a manner that can be utilised for the benefit of improving the Plexus products.
