The Role
- Create, assist and update posts to appear on social media, blogs, newsletters, emails, magazines and website
- Create content including photography, short video, written posts from scratch and other sources
- Create and implement the schedule for communications updates
- Receive, review and fulfil any sponsorship, filming/event requests
- Support the Events teams to facilitate event communications e.g invitations, advertising, direct mail etc
- Responsible for invoicing and administration of contracts
The Ideal Candidate
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Social Video Skills highly regarded: HOW TO VIDEO'S, UNBOXING, GUIDES etc
- You should be using Tik Tok, Snap Chat, Insta and curious about platfoms such as We Chat
- Be able to use HootSuite & Business Manager to sustain an ongoing social narrative
- Microsoft Package - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic design skills
- Creative skills in the area of communication and story writing
- Understanding and interpreting of online/social analytics
- Ability to recognise trends and create content to boost and support customer communities
- Ability to unearth good stories through proactive contact with all stakeholders
- Ability to summarise customer insights to create actionable tasks/programs
- Experience with social media/blogging and online customer engagement
- Marketing qualifications equivalent to Diploma/Degree
- 2 years' minimum experience in a Marketing Communications or similar role in a consumer/retail environment
- Experience in dealing with agencies, customers and stakeholders
