Our client is a successful international litigation funder, with offices in the UK and Australia. Following their success in the UK, they have quickly established themselves as a serious player in the Australian market and are expanding rapidly. Integral to their strategy for expansion is their ability to recruit and retain senior high calibre litigation lawyers from the top-tier firms who are seeking a change, whilst still enjoying the quality of work to which they are accustomed. 

Role:

This exclusive role will suit senior litigators who are keen to continue to be intellectually challenged by working on quality matters, in a small collegiate team, whilst enjoying a genuine work/life balance. Our client pays top of the market for senior litigators who excel at client service, are commercially astute, and who have strong people skills.

An autonomous role (suited to lawyers with 6-15 years of post admission experience gained in a top-tier firm doing commercial litigation,) this role will engage and challenge the successful applicant. It will appeal to quality lawyers who are career motivated, driven, focused and confident and able to use not just their legal skills, but also their highly developed interpersonal skills to full effect. 

The core element of the role will be to work with external lawyers on a variety of large, relatively complex commercial disputes from a range of causes of action. It will include plenty of decision making, financial modelling, high level interactions, and will suit a lawyer with acutely developed interpersonal and analytical skills.
