Senior Account Executive to sell ALM, EAI, modernisation & automation software tools to Enterprise & VIC Govt

The Company
Our client is a leading global software vendor in its own right which has grown organically and through a number of strategic business acquisitions over the past few years. As such, they have a variety different tools, products and services in their portfolio that they are able to take to market, all of which address the challenges of IT modernisation and updating legacy IT systems to new. As a result of expansion in their Australian business and a number of key business wins, they are currently seeking an outstanding Senior Account Manager to join the Melbourne team. 

The Role
Reporting to the National Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing and closing new business within a portfolio of existing and new enterprise and government accounts in VIC. You will be responsible for key account management, managing an existing install base whilst also demonstrating strong new logo hunting skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities at any point in time. Software targets are quarterly so you will demonstrate excellent pipeline and opportunity management skills. Additionally you will be responsible for working with tier 1 systems integrators and channel partners who are focused on delivering professional services. 

The Candidate
The successful candidate will possess the following: 
- Tertiary qualification in Business or IT
- A minimum of 5 years' experience selling software to the Enterprise and/or Government sector
- A proven track record of target attainment working in a high performance sales environment
- Outstanding presentation, verbal and written communication skills
- An extremely positive attitude with energy, drive, determination and a strong desire to succeed

*Ideally you will have previous experience selling ALM software, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools, automation software, identity and access management, security or software that is positioned at senior IT levels*
