My client is a market leading, highly innovative global IT cyber security company. They have a unique opportunity to help drive their activity in the channel by managing, developing and bringing on new channel partners. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive develop and enable channel partners
• Understand the partners business thoroughly, including market opportunity with the assigned partners - systems integrators, MSPs, tier 1 and tier 2 resellers
• Create a valid business plan with assigned partners, execute this throughout the fiscal year to meet its objectives
• Where appropriate attend End User sales appointments with Channel Partners
• Drive partners to build a strong pipeline based on existing customers and new business creation
• Maintain strong relationship with partners at all levels and recruit new resellers
• Provide sales/marketing campaign support to resellers
• Educate and train the assigned channels

Key Experience required:

• Proven Channel Manager
• At least 5 years of experience managing and selling to tier 1 national/regional channel partners, SI's and MSP's
• Proven experience of partner recruitment and enablement
• Experience in working at all levels within a channel partner from senior management through to sales reps
• Result oriented and action driven
• Good understanding of, and background in, IT Security is desirable but not mandatory
• Ability to work autonomously and in virtual teams
• This role may also suit an exceptional direct sales rep (BDM or Account Manager) coming from a tier 1 systems integrator or Telco who is looking for the next step, to move into IT vendor world
