The Capacity and Availability Coordinator role works closely with the Capacity and Availability Manager to assist with the delivery of reporting, trending and forecasting across various contracts. Understanding of IT environments is a requirement for this role, with a general understanding of network, infrastructure and cloud environments.
This opportunity:
  • Maintain policy, standards and procedures for service component capacity management
  • Ensure the correct implementation of standards and procedures
  • Review information in conjunction with service level agreements to identify any capacity issues and specify any required changes
  • Work with business users to agree and implement short and medium term modifications to demand
  • Provide advice and assistance associated with the planning, design and improvement of service and component availability
  • Investigate breaches of availability targets and service non-availability, with the instigation of remedial activities
  • Assist with plan arrangements for disaster recovery together with supporting processes and manage the testing of such plans
Who you are:
  • Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain an Australian Federal Government Security Clearance
  • Must have data analysis experience
  • Experienced with various monitoring and management tool-sets
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Power BI skills
