What will my day to day look like?

You will be responsible for supporting advisers who are looking to transition their clients to a Managed Accounts solution. Importantly, you will have the task of helping advisers to identify which clients to move, suggesting products, weightings and communicating the reasons for your choices effectively. You will adapt to the specific requirements of each advisor and have a strong understanding of the advice delivery process.
You will:
  • Work with advice practices to facilitate transition of clients to a managed account solution
  • Assist is identification and explanation of key data points and features
  • Work with Sales BDM’s to provide end to end engagement and support
  • Develop engagement programs with advice practices
  • Provide advice to the Executive Director of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Team and CEO
  • Identify and present sales and business development opportunities
  • Ensure a high level of client focus and engagement whilst supporting long term relationships
  • Anticipate client needs and develop appropriate responses
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, practices or procedures
  
What skills and experience do I need for this role?

You have a strong background in Financial Advice and a great understanding of the advice process (specifically transitioning to Managed Accounts). You have a can-do attitude, and you can deliver quick wins. You can communicate key messages with technical and non-technical stakeholders and can adapt to different advisor styles. You are very professional, commercially astute, articulate, energetic and emotionally intelligent.
You have:
  • Strong experience in the delivery of advice
  • Finance Degree or a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning
  • Understanding of financial planning software (eg: XPlan)
  • Experience driving change within a financial services business
  • The ability to assess the best way to move a client book into managed accounts
  • Ability to support the education and engagement process
  • Experience drafting SOAs, including identifying and explaining quality attributes
  • Strong understanding of the issues and challenges associated with the presentation of information from/to platforms providers and parent dealer groups.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • The willingness and ability to travel to fully execute your role.
  • An ability to work independently and understand appropriate accountability
  • High levels of integrity and an ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proven demonstration of initiative, creativity, and follow-through
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
