The Role:
This position is with a National Tier 2 civil contractor which currently has several large projects running within NSW. They now require an experienced Office Manager to manage office services, maintenance and reception to assure effective office support for a minimum 6-month contract to provide maternity leave cover.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Telephone and face to face inquiries at reception.
  • Undertake general financial functions including allocation of order numbers, processing invoices and expense claims.
  • Organising and distributing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Coordinate efficient and cost-effective office maintenance, security and cleaning.
  • Procurement of all office supplies, equipment and furniture as required.
  • Administration support to senior management.
  • Assisting in project start-up when needed including site office fit-outs, accommodation etc.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.
Essential Experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role. Construction industry experience is essential.
  • Proven coordination of multiple tasks, that encompass project work, event management and in-house marketing activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office, Timberline and Filesite highly desirable.
