Senior Site Manager required to manage a team delivering high profile commercial fitout/ refurb projects in Melbourne's CBD - Contact Rob Kennedy

Our longstanding client is currently looking to add a Senior Site Manager to their business which specialises in commercial fit-out, refurbishment and interiors across Melbourne. The business has built a strong reputation nationally for delivering high profile, demanding projects with a stable, longstanding team which sets them apart from the competition.

We are looking for someone who is confident in their own ability, experienced across commercial fit-out projects (to circa $20m) and able to effectively manage the operational and commercial teams to achieve successful delivery of their projects.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, your role will see you delivering sizeable fit-out and/or refurbishment projects in line with the construction programme, project budgets, QA and HSE standards.

Your role will be responsible for:
• Coordinating sub-contractors, site labour and trades
• Scheduling of works
• Managing Quality and OHS compliance
• Managing the day-to-day site activity to meet the site programme

To be successful in this role you will have:
• A trade qualification or a building-related qualification
• Proven knowledge of the construction process and solid experience in a similar role
• Live environment and D&C experience will be looked upon favourably
• Experience in the delivery of fit-out and/or refurbishment projects
• The capacity to programme and manage subcontractors effectively
• A proven history of ensuring safety and quality is maintained onsite
• Excellent communication, man management and administration skills.
