About the Opportunity
We are currently seeking a dedicated and engaging Senior Learning Facilitator to coordinate BBUS16 and Sports Management.

The Senior Learning Facilitator/Lecturer is primarily a teaching role, however main responsibilities may include coordinating the quality of delivery of allocated subjects, or leading specialist academic projects. 

It may also require the individual to contribute to the institution through research, industry engagement and mentoring or leading other Academic staff.
Reporting to the Program Director, your main responsibilities will be:
  • Preparing, delivering and assessing subjects within the program
  • Managing small, large blended hybrid and or/online classrooms, monitoring and ensuring participation, managing one’s own and student’s time and attention effectively
  • Utilising learning technology effectively and embed it in design and delivery
  • Ensuring students are supported to attain learning outcomes and complete assessment tasks
  • Participating in course review initiatives, moderation and course development as necessary
  • Providing student academic support
  • Mentoring or supervising academic staff
  • Undertaking relevant professional development activities and maintaining a program of academic reading and/or research
This is a permanent full time position based in Wakefield - Adelaide.

About You
To be successful in the Senior Learning Facilitator position you will possess:  
  • PhD (or close to completion) or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum three years of professional industry accounting experience
  • Minimum five years of higher education  experience with a proven track record
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing high performing, engaged staff
  • A student-centric mentality and respect for balancing both people and commercial needs
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, excellent relationship management and customer service skills, and strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • A research agenda with potential future research outputs
  • An awareness and understanding of the relevant TEQSA standards, ESOS National Code and associated legislation in matters relating to overseas students.
  • Membership of a professional accounting body (desirable) 
  • Holding a qualification in tertiary/university teaching (desirable)
