Head of Marketing - Retail

The purpose of the position is to successfully drive the brand and retail store customer proposition through effective marketing strategies in order to improve shop performance and grow sales.

Accountabilities

The purpose of the position is to:
 Drive, build and enhance the brand and retail proposition in stores through the development and implementation of targeted marketing strategies, campaigns, promotional calendar
and programs of work.
 Directly accountable for promotional project delivery in Retail.
 Directly accountable for the Retail Audit program and outcomes
 Responsible for in store look and feel including leveraging bulk display and off-locations.
 Align and partner with merchandising and operational teams in the achievement of performance, sales and profit targets.
 Align and partner with corporate brand, social, digital and sponsorship resources in the achievement of key organisational objectives and mandates.
 Manage the marketing production team and oversee promotional collateral including advertisements, newsletters, websites, publications and other printed and electronic collateral.
 Build a targeted annual delivery plan and manage team to achieve execution plan to time, standards and budget.
 Select the right external marketing service providers. Closely manage provider delivery and overall performance in order to maximise value – across advertising, media buying, market research and social
media providers.
 Prepare smart reporting periodically in order to communicate delivery against plan on agreed key objectives
 Provide marketing services leadership and capability to line leaders and staff

Key Selection Criteria, Qualifications & Experience

 A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as business and marketing.
 10 to 15 years in marketing and sales within a comparable market field/industry.
 A creative mind with a commercial bend
 Ability to think strategically and act tactically
 Great resilience and diplomacy skills

Salary $200K +
