Leichhardt located EXCEEDING centre is currently seeking an Early Childhood Teacher and Educator to join our successful and growing team TODAY!

Early Learning Placements has a proven record of successfully matching candidates within the right service.  We can assist suitably qualified candidates on a casual, contract and permanent basis to secure roles within Sydney's most prestigious early childhood and after school care services. 

About the centre:
This centre is  owned and run by two friends who are both mothers themselves  are seeking an experienced ECT and  Diploma Qualified Educator to work alongside a dedicated team of educators in this exceeding vibrant centre.

Position ECT/ Dip:
- Toddlers 2-3
- work 4 or 5 full days
- permanent position

Position ECT/ Dip :
- Junior Preschool (3-4)
- 5 full days
- Permanent position

*Monthly RDO*

Key responsibilities included yet are not limited to:
  • Guiding and supporting children in their learning and social development.
  • Co-ordinate and interact in indoor and outdoor play activities.
  • Record, monitor and aid with development through child observations.
  • Assist children to develop with daily routines.
  • Establish positive and professional relationships with children, parents and staff.
  • Assist colleagues with the day to day running of the centre
  • Consistently work within the guidelines of the EYLF and NQF.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
  • A Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (As assessed and recognized by ACECQA.
  • Diploma in early childhood.
  • Extensive Knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
  • Ability to provide high quality care and education.
  • A Current Apply First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate.
  • Good Organisational Skills and Good Leadership skills.
  • Good Communication Skills and Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Current Working with Children Check. 
  • 12 months experience working in a centre 
  • A current First Aid certificate 
  • Motivation and enthusiasm for working with children. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • A genuine interest and passion for working with children and improving their personal development.
