The Centre:

This brand new purpose-built centre are looking for an experienced and qualified Educator to join their BRAND NEW team starting in early January.
They firmly believe that all children are individuals who take part in the process of development through interactions and the educational environment around them. The centre operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and will operate for 50 weeks of the year.


The Role:

We are currently looking for an outstanding Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma candidate who is possibly working towards their degree, to take on the responsibility of Nominated Supervisor role.
These roles will involve leading the team and will be responsible for planning, programming and supervising the children on a daily basis.
You will be required to provide support and mentor the staff within the centre  ensuring a creative and engaging program is being delivered daily.
The role will be on the floor and will be instrumental in maintaining a high level of quality in the overall program and running of the centre.
This will include the responsibility of the Quality Improvement Plan as well as ensuring compliance with National Regulations & Law within the centre.

Essentail Criteria:
  • Bachelor/Master's in Early Childhood Education OR Working Towards. Or Diploma in Children Service or Early Years Education. (ACECQA Approved equivalent also acceptable.)
  • Hold a PAID NSW Working With Children's Check.
  • Hold a current first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis certificate.
  • Strong working and practical knowledge of the National Quality Standards and Framework.
  • Familiarity with the National Regulation & Law.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role.
  • Previous experience leading an Educational Program.
  • Previous experience in the rating & Assessment process.
  • Passion for working with children.
