Our client is a newly refurbished privately owned centre, located in the Western suburbs. This is your opportunity to work in a beautiful centre that is very well resourced and has excellent ratios. This centre is seeking an experienced Certificate III trained child care worker to join their passionate and motivated team.  To secure this role, you MUST be experienced working in child care centres, ensuring that you are able to work autonomously as well as contribute to the centres day to day operations.  

Key responsibilities included yet are not limited to:
·         Communicate positively and professionally with children, parents and staff members
·         Assist room leader to provide a supportive and educational environment for children
·         Interacting with children to encourage social development
·         Participating in group time and activity sessions
·         Assist in writing observations and developmental profiles
·         Supervising children at play time
·         Ensuring children’s well being is maintained at all times
The successful candidate will have:
·         A Certificate III in Children's Services
·         A  current First Aid Certificate
·         A  minimum of 6 months experience working in a child care centre
·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·         The ability to be flexible and adaptable
·         The ability to work with minimal supervision
·         Enthusiasm & commitment to the early childhood sector
