This major developer has a large and varied portfolio of projects across the east coast of Australia. Due to ongoing and substantial investment within its portfolio, an experienced Development Manager is required to help with the ongoing delivery of a highly varied renewable enrgy portfolio. 

The Role

Working within a highly active and solid development team, this position will be focused on site acquisitions through to financial close. Reporting to the Development Director, you will take project ownership and provide input at a senior level, to carry the workload and be involved in the full lifecycle of some exciting large scale solar pv and wind projects. 

Given the nature of the business, this role will have a heavy stakeholder management process, ensuring the briefs of all key parties are met whilst taking an active role in ongoing report writing and updates around the projects.

There will be a highly active workload of projects being handled at any one time, which will involve the close management of external consultants to help deliver. 

The Candidate 
The right individual will have operated on the client side or within a consultancy environment in the past, delivering for key clients and handling high-level stakeholder engagement. Strong report writing skills are a must. 

However given this is a development led role, they must have gained extensive front end skills around development applications, project development and feasibility. 

This is a great role and will be handling genuinely interesting and varied projects. Whilst this is within a private landlord type environment and you will be working on the client side, a commercial acumen is required in what is a progressive business environment.
