WHS Qualified Risk & Safety Manager for a Property Asset Management group | 12 Month Contract OR ongoing Part Time

The Organisation
Capstone's client flies under the radar and is one of Australia's busiest real estate asset managers across ANZ, with links to a global entity. They are currently resourcing their business to support the experts in their fields to meet the challenges of the future.

The Role
As the Risk & Compliance Manager, you will ensure compliance by internal and external stakeholders around their Risk Management Framework, with an emphasis on Work Health & Safety (WHS).

You will undertake 
  • a strategic assessment & updating or completing policies, procedures and plans within the framework inc AS/NZS45001 re WHS
  • education of stakeholders, supporting and advising responsibilities 
  • utilisation of IT to streamline quarterly reporting to funds managers
Your task is to sophisticate WHS policies and actions to match the high standards of general compliance the organisation proudly adheres to. They utilise expert Real Estate businesses to facility manage their assets which allows this role to focus on fine tuning operations, activity and reporting for their national office, shopping centre and industrial property portfolios.
Regular CAPEX projects provide variety and a busy work environment.

The suitable person
WHS trained and educated. You will have a depth of experience including developing and implementing compliant frameworks, educating and training staff and Facilities Management & Construction group WHS representatives.

It is expected you will have worked in a similar role, ideally for an
  • Property, Facilities Management or Property Asset Management organisation, looking to impart your expertise.

Our client is looking to engage a professional for a contract initially with a view to reassessing after 12 months, OR in an ongoing Part Time capacity. Remuneration is based on experience, capability and overall match with a view towards $650 + Super or $700+GST per day.
